1st XI. - 1975

The following players represented the school:-
S. Leonard, R. Moss, B. Oliver, K. Downey, A. Penfold, P. Weems,
J. Frawley, I. Parham, M. Brooks, C. Penfold, G. Oliver, A. Brown,
P. Stebbing, P. Winstanley, P. Ayres, K. Taylor, B. Barnes.

The present lst XI is one of the best sides to represent the school, and results-wise the best apart from the war years. Unfortunately the team has lost matches at crucial stages, for instance in the semi-final of the Surrey Cup to the eventual winners, and in the quarter-final of the London Cup. Furthermore, the lst XI won all their matches up to Christmas in the Surrey League, but have since lost twice to fall to third place. One encouraging note is that the side has reached the final of the Wandsworth Cup, and is also unbeaten in all friendly matches. They owe their success to a pool of experienced players, a sound defence, fast, skillful forwards, plus good reserves. P. Stebbing and A. Penfold represented Surrey County Under 19's during the season.

2ND XI - 1975

Reached the quarter-final of the London Cup being beaten by a masquerading 1st XI from Hampstead, and are at present second in the Surrey League.

The following players represented the school:-

R. Moss, P. Weems, J. Gibb, A. Charuy, T. Beardall, S. Waterman, C. Knight, P. Winstanley, G. Mackenzie, K. Alexander, K. Taylor, R. Bolter, R. Jenner, B. Barnes, M. Blackburne.

U15 XI - 1975

A disappointing season for a previously successful team, largely due to the lack of physical size.

The following boys. represented the school: -

A. Anderson, K. Smith, P. Barnes, M. Cleaver, S. Armstrong, P. Harwood, C. Baker, N. Harris, R. Codrington, D. Stewart, N. Knight, S. Staples, M. Doe, R. Brooker, M. Ronald, P. Cooper, I. Ross.

U14 XI - 1975

They have had another good season reaching the semi-final of the London Cup and the quarter-final of the Surrey Cup. Mark Morris has also once again been in good form, scoring 68 goals so far.

The following boys represented the school:-

G. Maddox, D. Samuels, R. Rayner, M. Handy, A. Edmonds, C. Powell, J. Wilson, I Khan, P. Gilbert, M. Morris, M. Summers, T. Ireland, S. Goodwin, F. Jones.

U13 XI - 1975

On their day, possibly the best side in the school. It has been very disappointing that they have been beaten in the 4th round of the London Cup, quarter-final of the Surrey Cup, and so far the, semi-final of the Wandsworth Cup. J. Gale, S. Begley, D. Elliott and S. Price represented Wandsworth and District during the season.

The following boys represented the school:-

T. Mahoney, P. Hatt, M. Copeland, J. Atkinson, Stu. Price, S. Begley, Ste. Price, G. Hopkins, J. Gale, S. Wheatley, D. Elliott, G. Watkins, G. Stephenson, N. Diamantis, J. Harris, M. Tella, L. Janaway, D. Robinson.

U12 XI - 1975

They have been the most successful side in the school, showing all-round strength. They were beaten in the semi-final of the Surrey Cup, and the semi-final of the London and Wandsworth Cups. They have been rather unlucky, but their turn will come.

The following boys represented the school:-

M. Leadon, A. Romain, N. Addison, G. Lye, A. Torrie, P. Cooper, J. Litster, L. Gilbert, M. Favell, P. Howard, I. Thompson, S. Willsher, P. Witney, Alex. Hutton, L. Dempsey, C. On, M. Abbott, T. Chakraborty.

We would like to thank Mr. P. Meaden for his help in refereeing, and all the members of the staff who took teams away on Saturday mornings. We would also like to thank both parents and the groundsmen, Mr. Meech and Mr. Fry, for the help they have given. All boys who represented, and gave their best for, their teams must be thanked as well. (B.T.W)

FOOTBALL TOUR

This year the 1st and 2nd XI travelled to East Anglia and in one match we beat Beccles G.S. 2-1, beat Thorpe G.S. (Norwick) 3-1, and drew 2-2 v. Kirkley H.S. (Lowestoft). An enjoyable time was had by all.
